Switzerland was founded on August 1st, 1291 CE. Here is the flag:

Here is a map showing all of the cantons (states) it has:

It borders Germany, France, Italy, Austria, and Liechtenstien.

The most common language they speak is German, then French, then Italian, and finally Romansch*.

The capital of Switzerland is Bern, and it is on the continent of Europe. Switzerland’s currency is the Swiss frank, which has the same value as the United States dollar. The average temperature in Switzerland is 47 °F.
